Our new Juno bath has been specifically designed by our engineers with the young family in mind. A central plug hole, means it is reversable when being installed. The bath is designed with 2 sloping ends so that 2 children can be bathed at the same time, remember, the plug is in the centre, so nobody sits on it, and the water filler is mounted in the centre of the bath along the back edge. Water supply would be controlled from a shower mixer, installed on one of the walls, away from where playfull hands are likely to wander. One of the biggest problems with standard baths is that they either dont have a high enough lip around the perimiter of the bath to provide effective sealing of the shower linings or tiles, or the lip is sufficient, but is literally a real pain in the arse when you sit on the edge of the bath to help bathe the kids. Our engineers have experienced this problem first hand, and decided to do something about it. Logical really, and like every good idea, really simple. They took the lip off the front of the bath, but retained it on the 3 back edges. A high lip is essential for the water tightness of a bath, so our Juno bath has an impressive 25mm upstand on the 3 sides of the bath which are normally fitted against the walls. The front edge is smooth, allowing a parent to sit there comfortably while playing with, bathing, or just supervising their children. The water tightness of the bath is maintained, while it is still practical to actually use. The Juno bath is an industry standard 1675mm x 760mm and will replace a standard bath in any situation. |
